St. Katherine’s is a place of grace. During Sunday worship, we thank God for loving us without reservation. We ask God for discerning hearts, so that everyone we meet feels welcome and accepted. We respond to God’s gift of grace by caring about each other and through service, especially to the people of Forster Woods Adult Day Center. These relationships enrich our lives.

Our History

The story of St. Katherine’s is really two stories. The first story is that of John Harris Forster, the adventurous surveyor/miner/farmer who figured in much of Michigan’s early history, and his no less adventurous wife, Martha Mullett Forster. Read More

St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church is very proud of its historic Chapel, Day Care and Retreat Center, and our main Church facility with its beautiful Sanctuary, large Parish Hall and rooms to accommodate many functions for our members and community. Read More

Forster Woods

Forster Woods Adult Day Center grew from the vision of the The Very Rev. Ronald C. Byrd, Sr. and from the support of the congregation of St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church to reach out into our community and provide much needed support to elder adults and their caregivers. Read More
